ADX40 Products
Adjuvantix envisage that ADX40 vaccines will consist of human or humanised anti CD40 antibody conjugated to immunogens, in the case of mono- or divalent vaccines, or co-entrapped within liposomes in the case of multivalent vaccines
Advantages of ADX40 system
The ADX40 system may have particular application utility in the generation of immune responses against T-independent antigens including, particularly polysaccharide antigens and other ‘haptenic’ antigens such as drugs of abuse. Preliminary studies suggest that anti-CD40 antibody-antigen conjugates can enhance immunological memory and induce strong CTL responses.
As ADX40 works via a different route to conventional vaccines it may
be useful in combination with other adjuvants.
