About Adjuvantix

Adjuvantix is a research and development company focused on the application of its novel enhanced adjuvant system, ADX40, to vaccines for the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases.   The Company has recently implemented a strategy to prosecute its own development of vaccine product candidates based on ADX40.  Initial vaccine development targets include prostate cancer, lymphoma and TB.  Adjuvantix is also looking to outlicence or partner its novel adjuvant with other vaccine development companies.

Adjuvantix is based in the UK and was incorporated in 1999 to realise the commercial potential of Professor Andrew Heath's anti-CD40 research work in the School of Medicine at the University of Sheffield.

Adjuvantix has recently appointed an experienced management team, to help drive its programmes through to the point of preclinical proof of concept and first administration to man.  Adjuvantix has attracted investment from the White Rose Seedcorn Technology Fund and Biofusion plc and in February 2009, completed a funding round from its original investors plus a new investor partner, Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Adjuvantix is currently seeking partnering opportunities for ADX40 with companies engaged in cancer or infectious disease vaccine R&D.
